The Puilacher cooperative winery is located in the South of France, in the heart of the middle valley of the Hérault, between the Salagou lake to the North, the hills of the Moure to the South, the gates of Montpellier to the East and Pézénas to the West. It is an early sector, composed of Villafranchian terraces, clay-limestone soils as well as deep alluvial soils of the Hérault.
The 450 or so winegrowers of the Clochers et Terroirs winery have been cultivating with passion, and for generations, a wine-growing area of approximately 3 000 hectares of vines in our typical southern villages of Puilacher, Nébian and Aspiran, located in the heart of the Hérault Valley. Together, we produce no less than 200,000 hectolitres of Red, Rosé and White wine each year, which are then sold all over the world.
The activity of the cellar Focused on the production of quality-respecting products, our cellar mainly produces wines benefiting from the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) such as Oc, Vicomté d'Aumelas, Coteaux du Salagou, Ceressou, Hérault wines... but also from the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) such as Languedoc Rouge, Rosé and Blanc and Clairette du Languedoc. The activity of the Clochers et Terroirs cellar is mainly oriented towards bulk sales to major merchants from all over the world, but in a desire for proximity with our consumers who love good regional wines, part of our production is also bottled by us in order to be sold directly to individuals in our various cellars in Nébian.
